UV rays cause DNA damage, collagen breakdown, inflammation and pigmentation changes in the skin. They weaken the skin's barrier function, leading to increased water loss and vulnerability to irritants. These effects contribute to photoageing, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation and an increased risk of skin cancer. Titanium dioxide, nano zinc oxide, octyl salicylate and methyl anthranilate together provide broad-spectrum UVA and UVB protection.
Broad-spectrum sun protection which is non-greasy, non-comedogenic and has SPF 50.
- Apply thoroughly on the face, neck and sun-exposed areas 20–30 minutes before sun exposure.
- Re-apply every 3 hours, or at 8:00 AM, 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM daily.
- Titanium Dioxide
- A physical filter that reflects and scatters UVA and UVB rays.
- Nano Zinc Oxide
- A mineral-based filter that reflects UVA and UVB rays; the nano particles give better coverage and distribution on skin.
- Octyl Salicylate
- Absorbs UVB rays, helping prevent sunburn, premature ageing and skin damage.
- Methyl Anthranilate
- A photostabiliser and chemical filter providing protection against both UVA and UVB radiation.
Titanium Dioxide, Nano Zinc Oxide, Octyl Salicylate, Methyl Anthranilate, Octyl Methoxycinnamate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Cetyl Alcohol, Jojoba Oil, Omega-6 Fatty Acid, Disodium EDTA, Glycerine.
Contraindications. Hypersensitivity to any of the known ingredients in the product.
Adverse effects. Adverse effects are usually mild and may include slight skin irritation, burning and redness. In rare cases there may be allergic reactions on the skin.
Caution. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes and other mucous membranes. Do not use on broken skin.
Storage. Do not freeze. Store in a cool, dry place below 25°C.
